If you're looking to black the sun I suggest wearing sunglasses. . I specifically chose THIS model of Bern helmet based on the fact that the visor (as seen here in the picture) is part of the actual hard helmet.

When it arrived I saw that the one shipped to us is just like most of these Bern helmets - the visor (which is not the same color as the helmet) is actually a soft visor that is attached to the inner lining of the helmet, and it's not a hard section of the outer helmet shell as pictured.
